Approach & Philosophy

What inspired you to become a paediatrician?

Children have a way of showing and spreading love and joy in its purest form. During my training, I was inspired by the strength and resilience shown by children who were suffering from many different illnesses. I was therefore inspired to help treat children of all ages. I developed a special interest in premature and Newborn infants as my training progressed because with the expertise and technology currently available, we are able to treat many conditions which were not previously treatable, such as extreme prematurity. It gives hope to parents and families when we can save these tiny babies LIVES and give them a good life ahead.

Special Interest: Neonatal & Newborn Care

Dr Anushree has a strong focus on neonatology, providing specialised care for newborns — especially those who require close monitoring and medical support. Her areas of interest include:
• Care of premature and low birth weight babies
• Neonatal intensive care (NICU management)
• Jaundice monitoring and management
• Feeding and breastfeeding support
• Growth and developmental follow-up
• Guidance for first-time parents and early newborn care

Do not hesitate to ask questions or share your concerns — early attention can make a big difference in your child’s health and development. Trust your instincts, and let us work together to support your child’s growth and wellbeing.”

A Calling to Child Health

For Dr Anushree, paediatrics brings together medical care, careful monitoring, and meaningful connection with both children and their families. She finds fulfillment in caring for children through their earliest and most vulnerable stages of life — from supporting premature babies in the neonatal period to guiding parents through feeding, growth, and everyday childhood concerns.

She is especially inspired by the strength and resilience of newborns and young children, particularly those who require intensive care at the start of life. Being able to support these tiny lives and give them a strong beginning continues to drive her passion for her work.

Dr Anushree believes in empowering parents with clear, reliable information, helping them understand their child’s needs, recognise early warning signs, and feel confident in caring for their child’s health and development.
